SYKEDELIK GIRL - ARTIST

G'day everyone. Welcome to my website. I'm glad you made it here.
I am an artist based in Australia. For as long as I can remember I've always loved drawing and making things. Now I'm reaching further into the digital world, creating NFTs.
I hope you enjoy sharing some of my journey here. Please take a peek at some of my favourite pictures in the next section.
Want to see more? Check out my Linktree on the link below.
If you'd like to talk to me about ordering an artwork as a digital file (if in Australia perhaps as a print on canvas, metal, acrylic, or corrugated iron), please contact me on the link at the bottom of the page.
SAMPLES OF MY FAVOURITE WORKS

Stormy Eyes
One of my cats is a thing of beauty. He is a Ragdoll, and has the most gorgeous blue eyes. His magnificent looks more than make up for the fact that he is barely a cat, instinct-wise. There is not much that goes on between those beautiful ears, but he is truly the most sweet and adoring boy.
Oil pastel on paper. 2016
Blue Waterholes Brumby
This young brumby colt followed my son and myself down to the river while we were on a camping trip. He was happy to have a drink while we watched from a distance.
Location: Blue Waterholes, Kosciuszko National Park, NSW, Australia.
Pastel on textured and coloured paper. 2016

Snowy Brumbies Watching the Watcher
One of my favourite sights when driving through the Snowy Mountains has always been the brumbies, Australia's own wild horses. This is one of my most loved drawings. These lovely animals were from around the Kiandra area.
Digitally hand drawn on iPad. 2018
Penny's Promise in Blue
I was inspired by a friend who, despite going through some difficult times with her health and her family, remained delightfully positive and determined, and always lovely. I named this piece after her.
Digitally hand drawn on iPad. 2018

Paleface, King of Kiandra
Paleface was one of the better know brumby stallions around the Kiandra and Long Plain area of the Snowy Mountains. After the devastating January 2020 Australian bushfires, he was not seen for a long time and sadly is presumed to have died in those flames.
Digitally hand drawn on iPad. 2019
Psychedelic Sinuous Delight in Pastel
Now that I'm creating NFTs, my digital art has taken on a decidedly more adult look. I'm enjoying experimenting with backgrounds as well as playing with light and dark.
Digitally hand drawn on iPad. 2021

As well as creating artworks I also retouch and/or colourise old and damaged photos. I do love to bring life back to these memories.
